Quick Tomato Sauce

This quick tomato sauce from Spoonsparrow is ready in no time: the classic can simply be eaten anytime!
Ingredients
- 250 g whole wheat spaghetti
- Salt
- 400 g Tomatoes
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 bunch Basil
- Pepper
- 20 g Parmesan

Cook the spaghetti in plenty of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.

Meanwhile wash and halve the tomatoes, removing the stem. Dice the tomatoes very finely. Peel and finely chop the garlic, adding it to the tomato cubes. Mix in balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, and olive oil.

Wash the basil, shake dry, and pluck the leaves. Roughly chop the basil leaves and add them to the tomatoes. Season generously with salt and pepper.

Combine the tomato sauce with the spaghetti, divide onto two plates, grate Parmesan over the top, and serve.
