Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry (refrigerated section)
  • 5 sweet ripe pears
  • Pear syrup (from a reform store or organic shop), or maple syrup as an alternative

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) with upper and lower heat. Roll out the puff pastry thinly on a lightly floured surface. Wash, peel, halve, core, and slice the pears into fine strips. Place the pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush it with pear syrup or maple syrup, leaving a 1–2 cm border. Arrange the pear slices in a tiled pattern over the dough. Bake in the preheated oven for 30–40 minutes.
