Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 1 Garlic clove
- 300 g potatoes
- 2 carrots
- 100 g mushrooms
- 100 g peas (frozen)
- 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 450 g minced beef
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 800 ml beef stock
- 1 tsp dried marjoram
- 0.5 tsp cumin seeds
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder (hot rose)
- 0.5 tsp sweet paprika

Peel the onions and garlic. Slice the onions into rings and finely chop the garlic. Peel the potatoes and carrots, dice the potatoes and slice the carrots. Clean and quarter the mushrooms. Thaw the peas. Heat the oil in a pot, add the minced beef, fry for 3–4 minutes and break it up with a spatula until crumbly. Add the vegetables and potatoes and sauté.

Add the tomato paste and lightly brown it. Then pour in the stock, add the marjoram and cumin seeds, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes. Just before the end of cooking season the soup with salt, pepper and paprika, adjusting the spice level to taste. Serve with fresh country bread if desired.
