- 2 apples (e.g., Boskop)
- 50 g dried cranberries
- 4 tbsp orange juice
- 3 eggs
- 5 tbsp pear syrup
- 400 g quark
- 0.5 tsp orange zest
- 4 tbsp semolina
- butter (for the dish pan)
- powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan.

Peel, quarter, core the apples and cut quarters into strips. Mix cranberries and orange juice together. Separate eggs; whisk yolks with pear syrup, quark, orange zest, and semolina until smooth. Beat egg whites stiffly and fold into the quark mixture.

Fill about two-thirds of a buttered baking dish with the quark batter and arrange apple strips evenly in fan shape on top. Pour remaining cream over and bake for approximately 35 minutes until golden brown.
