Ingredients
- 1 kg pumpkin flesh (peeled, seeded)
- 1 large onion
- 80 g chickpea flour
- 1 tsp Paprika powder (sweet)
- 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- Salt
- 0.25 tsp baking powder
- fat for frying
- 4 large tomatoes
- 0.125 l water
- 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp Paprika powder (sweet)
- 2 tsp Curry powder
- 2 tbsp crushed peanuts
- Salt
- 5 tbsp oil
Instructions

Grate pumpkin and onion, mix all ingredients, form small balls, press them well to remove excess juice. Place the balls on kitchen paper.

Prepare the fryer, heat to 180°C, fry the pumpkin balls until golden brown and serve with spicy tomato sauce.

Wash tomatoes and puree in a blender.

Sauté all spices (except salt) in hot oil, stir in tomato puree and peanuts, simmer for a few minutes, add water and let it boil uncovered for about 10 minutes, season with salt.
