- 1 kg waxy potatoes
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp potato starch (depending on potato variety)
- 50 g grated hard cheese (e.g., Emmental)
- Salt
- black pepper (freshly ground)
- nutmeg
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped dill
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1 Red Onion
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 Avocado
- 2 Spring Onions
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- parsley (for garnish)

Peel and finely grate the potatoes, then mix well in a bowl with the egg, starch, and cheese. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and fold in the dill.

Heat a pan with a little oil.

Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the pan, flatten them ovally, and fry for about 2‑3 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook another 2‑3 minutes to finish. Repeat for all portions.
