Ingredients

  • 800 g plums
  • 500 g sugar
  • 50 ml red wine vinegar
  • 500 ml red wine
  • 5 cloves
  • 30 fresh grated ginger
  • 3 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

    Wash the plums, halve them, remove pits and heat in a large pot with the sugar, red wine vinegar, red wine, cloves, ginger, and cinnamon. Let simmer gently over medium flame for about 15 minutes.

    Immediately fill well-rinsed jars and seal. Serve chilled.
