Ingredients

  • 600 g canned pizza tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 raw bratwursts
  • 300 g cherry tomatoes
  • 120 g grated Emmental cheese
  • olive oil (for the baking tray)

Instructions

    For the dough, crumble yeast into a bowl and stir with sugar and about 200 ml lukewarm water until smooth. Add flour, olive oil and 1 tsp salt, then knead into a supple dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about an hour.

    Preheat the oven to 220 °C (428 °F) with both top and bottom heat.

    Shape the dough into four balls, roll each into a thin disc of roughly 24 cm diameter on lightly floured surface, leaving the edge slightly thicker. Place on four oiled baking trays.

    Spread the pizza tomatoes over the discs, season with salt and pepper. Slice the bratwursts, wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Distribute both over the pizzas and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes until golden.
