Pizza slices with ham and mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 400 g pizza dough (refrigerated)
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 400 g canned pizza tomatoes
  • 2 tsp mixed dried herbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 250 g mozzarella (9% fat)
  • 100 g cooked ham (thin slices)

Instructions

    Roll out the dough and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. For the sauce, peel and press the garlic. Mix garlic, tomatoes, herbs, and 1 tbsp olive oil; season with salt and pepper.

    Clean the mushrooms and slice them thinly. Slice the mozzarella thinly as well.

    Brush the dough with tomato sauce and top with mushrooms and cheese. Drizzle remaining oil over the toppings. Bake in a preheated oven at 250 °C (220 °C fan, gas: highest setting) on the middle rack for about 20 minutes.

    Meanwhile, trim the fat edge from the ham and cut the slices slightly smaller. After baking, distribute the ham over the hot pizza. Slice the pizza into portions and serve.
