Pickles in vinegar are a must-have for any snack table and can easily be made at home. Try this recipe from Spoonsparrow
Ingredients
- 2 kg pickling cucumber
- Salt
- 1 handful parsley
- 4 Carrots
- 2 tbsp allspice
- 4 tbsp mustard seeds
- 0.5 l white wine vinegar
- 75 g whole cane sugar

Clean cucumbers, wash thoroughly, slice thinly, sprinkle with salt and let sit for about 2 hours. Then rinse and pat dry.

Wash parsley, shake dry, pluck leaves and finely chop. Peel carrots and cut into fine slices. Combine allspice and mustard seeds in prepared jars. Mix cucumber slices with parsley and fill the jars.
