Ingredients
- 4 beef fillet steaks (about 120 g)
- Salt
- 3 tbsp oil
- coarsely ground pepper
- 2 tbsp brandy
- 200 ml beef stock (from the jar)
- 1 tbsp dark sauce thickener
- 4 slices pineapple

Season the beef fillet steaks with salt. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan. Sear the steaks for 2-3 minutes per side, sprinkling them with coarsely ground pepper. Remove the steaks and set aside. Deglaze the pan with brandy. Add the beef stock and bring to a boil. Stir in the sauce thickener and let it simmer once. Season the sauce with salt. Return the steaks to the sauce and let them steam for about 5 minutes over low heat.

Meanwhile, halve the pineapple slices. Heat the remaining oil and warm the pineapple briefly. Plate the fillet steaks with the sauce and pineapple slices together.
