Ingredients

  • 4 firm, sweet pears (e.g., Williams Christ)
  • 1 untreated lemon (juice)
  • 250 g blue cheese (e.g., Roquefort)
  • nut oil (for drizzling)
  • 12 peeled pecan nuts (for garnish)

Instructions

    Wash the pears, remove the core while leaving the stem attached. Slice each pear crosswise into 5 slices and drizzle the cut surfaces with lemon juice.

    Slice the blue cheese thinly and place the slices on top of the pear slices. Drizzle a few drops of nut oil over them and arrange on a plate, garnishing with pecan nuts before serving.
