Ingredients
- 0.5 head iceberg lettuce
- 60 g peeled walnut kernels
- 2 ripe pears (e.g., Williams Christ)
- Lemon juice
- 0.5 stalk leeks
- 50 g diced Gouda cheese
- 400 g crumbly cream cheese
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 0.5 tsp liquid honey
- 8 ready‑made wraps (≈20 cm diameter)
Instructions
-
1.
Separate the leaves from the lettuce, rinse, pat dry, and trim.
-
2.
Coarsely chop the walnuts and lightly toast them in a hot pan without added fat. Remove, set aside, and let cool.
-
3.
Peel the pears, quarter them, remove cores, and dice. Drizzle immediately with lemon juice. Slice the leeks lengthwise, rinse, shake dry, clean, and cut into rings. Combine nuts, pears, Gouda, and cream cheese in a blender, pulse to a coarse puree, then season with salt, pepper, a splash of lemon juice, and honey.

4.
Warm the wraps briefly on both sides in a hot pan without fat, avoiding browning. Place lettuce on the top quarter of each wrap, spread some pear mixture leaving a 2 cm border, fold down the lower edge, roll up, and serve wrapped in a napkin.
