Pasta Bake with Ham and Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 500 g Maccheroni
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 200 g cooked ham (sliced)
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 100 g grated cheese
  • 200 ml whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Wash the tomatoes, halve them, remove seeds and cut into strips.

    Slice the ham into fine strips.

    Cook the maccheroni in plenty of salted water until al dente.

  4. 4.

    Sauté the ham strips in hot butter, add the tomatoes and drained pasta. Transfer to a baking dish. Mix the cream with crème fraîche, season with salt and pepper, and pour over the pasta. Sprinkle breadcrumbs and cheese on top and bake in a preheated oven at 220 °C fan for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
