Spoonsparrow: With only five ingredients you can make this Italian dessert!

Ingredients

  • 5 sheets of white gelatin
  • 1 Vanilla bean
  • 500 ml whipping cream
  • 3 tbsp raw cane sugar
  • 4 strawberries (for garnish)

Instructions

    Soak the gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife.

    Heat the cream with sugar, vanilla seeds, and the bean over low heat for about 5 minutes until it simmers. Remove the bean and take the pot off the stove.

    Squeeze out excess water from the gelatin and add it to the vanilla cream. Stir until dissolved. Rinse four molds with cold water, fill them with the vanilla cream, cover, and refrigerate for 5 hours.

    Wash, dry, and drain the strawberries. Spoon the panna cotta onto dessert plates and garnish with strawberries.
