Oven‑Baked Potatoes with Garlic Sauce

The oven potatoes with garlic sauce from Spoonsparrow are a perfect after‑work recipe – quick to make, healthy and made with fresh ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes (about 150 g each)
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 0.5 bunch of chives
  • 100 g quark (20% fat)
  • 100 g low‑fat quark
  • 250 g yogurt
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Wash the potatoes, wrap them in aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 250 °C (220 °C fan or gas high setting) for 25–30 minutes.

    Meanwhile peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash the chives, dry and cut into fine ribbons. Mix the quark with yogurt, garlic, and two‑thirds of the chives; season with salt and pepper.

    Remove the finished potatoes from the oven, open the foil, slit them open, fill with a bit of dip, and sprinkle with the remaining chives. Serve together with the garlic dip.
