Oriental-style meatballs are a perfect after-work recipe – quick to make, healthy and with fresh ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 stalks thyme
  • 400 g ground lamb
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 0.5 tsp harissa

    Peel the onion and dice it very finely. Peel the garlic and chop it very finely. Wash the thyme, shake off excess water and finely chop it as well.

    Mix the ground meat with the egg, onions, garlic, and thyme, then season with salt, cinnamon, allspice, and harissa. Form small balls from the mixture and fry them in a hot pan with oil until they are golden brown on all sides. Serve as finger food with toothpicks for picking up.
