Onion Cake with White Cabbage

Ingredients
- 300 g white cabbage
- 300 g vegetable onion (1 vegetable onion)
- 1 tbsp caraway seeds
- Salt
- 20 g clarified butter
- Pepper
- 1 bunch flat-leaf parsley
- 200 g Sour Cream
- 3 eggs (medium size)
- 30 g grated Parmesan cheese
- nutmeg
- 1 pack pizza dough (250 g, from the refrigerated section)
- 200 g diced ham

Trim the stem from the white cabbage, peel and halve the onion, then slice both into fine strips. Blanch with caraway seeds in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Shock in cold water and drain well.

Preheat oven to 220°C. Heat clarified butter in a pan and sauté the cabbage-onion mixture over medium heat for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Chop parsley and mix with sour cream, eggs, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Combine the cabbage-onion mixture with the egg custard.

Prepare the pizza dough according to package instructions and roll it out into a tart pan (Ø36 cm). Press the dough into the greased pan, trim the edges straight. Prick the dough several times with a fork.

Pour the cabbage-egg mixture into the pan, smooth the surface, and sprinkle with diced ham. Bake in the preheated oven on the second rack from below for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
