Ingredients

  • 300 g white cabbage
  • 300 g vegetable onion (1 vegetable onion)
  • 1 tbsp caraway seeds
  • Salt
  • 20 g clarified butter
  • Pepper
  • 1 bunch flat-leaf parsley
  • 200 g Sour Cream
  • 3 eggs (medium size)
  • 30 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • nutmeg
  • 1 pack pizza dough (250 g, from the refrigerated section)
  • 200 g diced ham

Instructions

  1. 1.

Trim the stem from the white cabbage, peel and halve the onion, then slice both into fine strips. Blanch with caraway seeds in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Shock in cold water and drain well.

  2. 2.

Preheat oven to 220°C. Heat clarified butter in a pan and sauté the cabbage-onion mixture over medium heat for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Chop parsley and mix with sour cream, eggs, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Combine the cabbage-onion mixture with the egg custard.

  3. 3.

Prepare the pizza dough according to package instructions and roll it out into a tart pan (Ø36 cm). Press the dough into the greased pan, trim the edges straight. Prick the dough several times with a fork.

  4. 4.

Pour the cabbage-egg mixture into the pan, smooth the surface, and sprinkle with diced ham. Bake in the preheated oven on the second rack from below for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
