Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic (halved)
  • 125 g green olives (pitted)
  • 1 tbsp small capers
  • 1 tbsp pine nuts (roasted without oil in a pan)
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • Pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

    Blend olives with capers, pine nuts, tomato paste, vinegar, olive oil and a bit of pepper, or finely grind in a mortar; taste.

    For example, serve with toasted ciabatta slices.
