Oatmeal with Apricot

A gentle‑sweet, mild porridge to drink that provides babies with essential B vitamins and promotes growth and good sleep.

Ingredients

  • 50 g small ripe apricots (1 small ripe apricot)
  • 200 ml milk (3.5 % fat)
  • 20 g oat flakes (instant oats; 2 tbsp)

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Wash the apricot, score its skin with a sharp knife and peel it off.

  2. 2.

    Halve the apricot, remove the pit and cut into pieces.

  3. 3.

    Bring the milk and instant oat flakes to a boil in a small pot.

  4. 4.

    Remove from heat, add the apricot pieces and briefly blend everything with an immersion blender.

  5. 5.

    Pour the porridge into a bottle with a cross‑slot nipple, check the temperature and feed.
