Nut Cookies with Chocolate Drops

Ingredients

  • 120 g soft butter
  • 50 g sugar
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg (size S)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 175 g flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 120 g dark chocolate drops
  • 100 g chopped nuts (e.g., almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, macadamia nuts)

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with top and bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Beat the butter with sugar and brown sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the egg and vanilla sugar. Mix flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder together and fold into the batter gently. Stir in chocolate drops and nuts.

    Using a teaspoon, drop dough balls onto the baking sheet, leaving about 5 cm between each. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cookies are golden brown. Let them cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
