Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Punch
Refreshment, anyone? How about the non-alcoholic strawberry punch from Spoonsparrow. This tasty punch is a hit at any summer party.
Ingredients
- 30 g ginger (1 piece)
- 750 g strawberries
- 100 ml elderflower syrup
- 1 stalk lemon balm
- 1.5 l sparkling mineral water (well chilled)

Peel the ginger, slice thinly and place in a pot. Add 500 ml water, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

Remove the ginger with a slotted spoon and let the liquid cool. Pour into an ice cube tray and freeze for about 2 hours.

Meanwhile, gently wash strawberries in a bowl of water and drain them in a sieve. Clean the berries, quarter them, and place them in a punch bowl.

Pour in the syrup and 350 ml sparkling mineral water. Stir gently.

Wash the lemon balm, shake off excess moisture, add it to the bowl, and cover for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Add the remaining sparkling mineral water to the strawberries, stir briefly. Drop the ginger ice cubes into the punch and serve immediately.
