Ingredients
- 2 basil leaves
- 1 Garlic clove
- 30 g pine nuts
- 60 ml olive oil
- 30 g freshly grated Parmesan
- 0.5 ciabatta loaf
- 2 balls mozzarella (125 g each)
- 80 g cooked ham slices

Wash the basil and shake it dry. Peel and finely chop the garlic. In a mortar or with an immersion blender, combine the pine nuts, olive oil, and parmesan to make pesto.

Preheat the oven to 200 °C fan‑forced or use a contact grill. Cut the ciabatta horizontally in half. Slice the mozzarella. Spread pesto on the cut surfaces and assemble the sandwich with mozzarella and ham. Bake or grill for 5–10 minutes, then divide into portions for serving.
