Ingredients
- 500 g red onions
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp liquid honey
- 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground coriander
- 150 ml port wine
- 5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 3 tbsp Raisins
- Salt
- black pepper (ground)
Instructions

Peel the onions and cut them into thin strips. Heat the oil in a pot, lightly sauté the onions, pour over the honey and caramelize while stirring.

Add the spices, deglaze with port wine, vinegar and 70 ml water. Stir in the raisins, season with salt and pepper, then simmer uncovered for 30-40 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally and adding more water if needed. Serve.
