Ingredients
- 300 g waxy potatoes
- Salt
- 400 g hornchennudel (e.g., Hörnli or Magronen)
- 2 onions
- 2 tbsp butter
- 200 ml milk
- 100 ml whipping cream
- 250 g grated cheese (e.g., Sbrinz or alpine cheese)
- pepper (ground)
- Nutmeg (freshly grated)
Instructions

Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Parboil in salted water for about 10 minutes. Cook the noodles in salted water until very al dente. Drain both and let them dry well.

Peel and halve the onions, then cut into strips. In hot butter slowly brown them while stirring. Set aside.

Preheat the oven to 200°C with fan and top heating.
