Lingonberry Juice

The lingonberry juice from Spoonsparrow is perfect for gifting or as a small souvenir!

Ingredients

  • 3 kg lingonberries
  • 1 l water
  • 4 tbsp whole cane sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Orange juice

Instructions

    Wash and rinse the berries, place them in a pot, mash slightly, bring to a boil with the water, then simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. Transfer the cooked fruit through a strained cheesecloth into a lower pot to collect the liquid.

    Stir the extracted juice with whole cane sugar, lemon, and orange juices. Bring the mixture to a boil once more, skim off any foam with a skimmer, pour into sterile bottles, and seal tightly.
