Ingredients
- 175 g red lentils
- 0.5 tsp turmeric
- 1 Papaya
- 2 tbsp soy oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
- 0.25 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- Salt

Instructions

Wash and rinse the lentils thoroughly. Bring to a boil in plenty of water with turmeric. Cover and simmer, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes. Drain through a sieve.

Peel the papaya, halve it, remove seeds. Dice the flesh into 1½ cm cubes. Wash coriander, pat dry, tear leaves from stems and roughly chop.

Heat oil. Briefly sauté the papaya cubes, seasoning with cayenne pepper, garam masala, and lime juice. Remove from heat, add lentils, season with salt. Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle with coriander.
