Leafy Salad with Cheese

Leafy salad with cheese from Spoonsparrow: quick to make and a healthy side option.

Ingredients

  • 100 g borage (preferably with flowers)
  • 1 bundle dandelion
  • 1 small oak leaf lettuce
  • 0.5 iceberg lettuce
  • 100 g watercress
  • 50 g nasturtium (with flowers)
  • 2 tbsp thick milk
  • 1 tbsp whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp fruit vinegar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 0.5 bundle chives
  • 100 g sheep cheese

Instructions

    Pick the flowers from borage and nasturtium and set aside.

  2. 2.

    Wash, dry, clean the lettuces and tear into bite-sized pieces. Dice the sheep cheese into small cubes.

    Whisk thick milk, cream, vinegar and oil in a bowl, season with salt and pepper. Wash and dry chives, then cut into ribbons and stir into the salad dressing with the cheese.

    Add the salad to the mixture and toss. Sprinkle with the flowers and serve.
