Ingredients

  • 1 packet almond pudding mix (for 500 ml milk)
  • 500 ml milk
  • 300 g whipping cream
  • 4 tbsp gooseberry jam
  • 8 tbsp rolled oats
  • 8 Tbsp sugar

Instructions

    Cook the pudding according to package instructions and let it cool, stirring frequently to prevent a skin from forming.

    Toast the rolled oats in a dry pan without fat, then set aside.

    Boil sugar with 8 tbsp water and simmer for 1 minute; add the toasted oats, simmer for another minute, then strain through a sieve and allow the oats to drain well.

    Beat the cream stiffly.

    Alternately layer pudding, oats, and whipped cream in dessert cups, finish with a top of whipped cream and a sprinkle of oats, and spoon a tablespoon of gooseberry jam onto each.
