- 2 untreated lemons
- 300 g soft butter
- 300 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 200 g Flour
- 100 g ground almonds (peeled)
- 1.5 tsp Baking Powder

Preheat the oven to 175°C with top and bottom heat. Butter and dust the glass jars. Wash the lemons hot, dry them, and finely grate the zest. Squeeze out the juice. Cream the butter with the sugar. Gradually whisk in the eggs thoroughly. Fold in the lemon juice and zest. Mix the flour with the almonds and baking powder and quickly stir into the batter. Pour the batter into the jars and bake for about 30 minutes (test with a toothpick).
