Ingredients
- 300 g persimmons
- 100 g rolled oats
- 80 g whole wheat flour
- 4 tbsp ghee (or butter)
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (raw cacao)
- 1 tbsp spice blend (e.g., Naturally Good Rise & Shine seasoning)
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
- yogurt (1.5% fat)
- 150 ml freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 tbsp orange zest

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Wash and cut persimmons into small pieces. Slice orange zest into thin strips. Warm a saucepan. Add persimmons, 100 ml orange juice, and Naturally Good Rise & Shine seasoning. Simmer gently until slightly reduced.

Combine rolled oats, whole wheat flour, raw cacao, ghee, and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix with hands and form small crumb-like pieces.

Transfer the persimmon mixture into an oven-safe dish.

Sprinkle the crumble dough over the persimmon mixture. Pour remaining orange juice over the crumble and bake for about 30–35 minutes.

Serve the warm crumble with yogurt and maple syrup to taste.
