Jam Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 320 ml milk (1.5% fat)
  • 150 g flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 15 g vanilla sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 8 tsp jam (e.g., raspberry, strawberry)
  • sugar

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Whisk the milk with flour, eggs, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt until smooth. Let rest for about 20 minutes.

    Heat 1 tsp butter in a pan. Pour a small ladleful of batter into the pan. Cook the pancake on medium heat, turning each side for about 1–2 minutes until golden brown.

    Keep finished pancakes warm in a preheated oven at 80 °C (fan 60 °C; gas: lowest setting).

    Repeat with remaining butter and batter to make a total of eight pancakes.

  5. 5.

    Serve each pancake with a dollop of jam and, if desired, sprinkle with sugar.
