Hirse Salad with Feta Cheese and Figs

Ingredients

  • 150 g millet
  • Salt
  • 20 g mint (1 handful)
  • 3 stalks dill
  • 40 g almond kernels
  • 160 g sheep cheese
  • 250 g Cherry Tomatoes
  • 6 figs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 lemon (juice)
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Place millet in a sieve and rinse under running water until clear. Then cook the millet according to package instructions. Let it cool and season with salt.

    Meanwhile wash mint and dill, shake dry, pluck leaves and tips, roughly chop. Roughly chop almonds as well. Crumble sheep cheese. Wash cherry tomatoes and halve them. Wash figs, trim and quarter them.

    Combine cooled millet, mint, dill and tomatoes with olive oil and lemon juice, season with salt and pepper. Arrange in four deep bowls and distribute figs, sheep cheese and almonds on top.
