Ingredients

  • 8 herring fillets
  • 1 bunch radishes
  • 1 tart apple
  • 1 white onion
  • 2 small pickled gherkins
  • 2 tbsp chives
  • 200 g Sour Cream
  • 250 g yogurt
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • Salt
  • ground pepper

Instructions

    Cut the herring fillets across into finger‑wide strips. Wash, trim and dice the radishes.

    Wash the apple, quarter it, remove the core and slice thinly. Peel, halve and finely chop the onion. Dice the gherkins.

    Whisk together sour cream, yogurt and vinegar. Mix in the herring, radishes, apple, onion, gherkins and chives thoroughly.

    Season with salt and pepper. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.
