Ingredients

  • 200 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 EL vanilla sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 EL milk
  • coconut flakes
  • cherry topping

Instructions

    Beat sugar and vanilla sugar with butter until fluffy, sift flour over the mixture and knead, add milk if needed.

    Shape dough into rolls about 4 cm in diameter, wrap in foil and refrigerate overnight.

    Cut rolls into slices about 1 cm thick, place on a parchment-lined baking sheet at slight spacing and bake in preheated oven (160°C) for about 25 minutes until lightly golden.

    Remove hot cookies from tray, roll the side with less fat in coconut flakes and top each with a cherry and a bit of sugar glaze, let cool.
