Ham and Fig Antipasti

Try the delicious ham-fig antipasti from Spoonsparrow.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe figs
  • 3 stems basil
  • 20 g balsamic cream (2 tbsp)
  • 40 g Parma ham (very thin; 4 slices)
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Wash the figs, pat dry and cut crosswise into quarters.

  2. 2.

    Wash the basil, shake off excess water and pluck the leaves.

  3. 3.

    Drop a ring of balsamic cream onto each of four plates. Place one slice of ham on top, roll it into a nest shape and insert one fig inside.

  4. 4.

    Garnish with basil and season with pepper.
