Ground Meat Skillet with Green Beans
A ground‑meat skillet with green beans is a perfect after‑work recipe – quick to make, healthy and made with fresh ingredients.
Ingredients
- 300 g green beans
- 100 ml Vegetable broth
- 600 g mixed ground meat
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp grill seasoning mix
- 1 large onion
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 0.5 yellow bell pepper
- 1 sprig thyme
- 2 tbsp clarified butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- a pinch of sugar
- 200 g Sour Cream
- 1 tbsp chopped pickled chili peppers
- a pinch dried garden herbs
- thyme for garnish
Instructions

Wash, trim, and cut the beans into pieces. Add them to a covered pot with broth and steam until tender, about 7–10 minutes.

Mix the ground meat with Worcestershire sauce and grill seasoning. Dice the onion finely and mince the garlic by pressing through a press. Wash, core, and dice the bell pepper; add it to the beans. Rinse thyme, shake dry, strip leaves from stems, chop finely, and add to the meat mixture.

Heat clarified butter in a skillet and brown the ground meat until crumbly. Add onions and garlic, sauté for 2–3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, stir in tomato paste and sugar, then add the beans with their cooking liquid. Mix well, bring to a boil again, and serve topped with sour cream, chili, dried herbs, and thyme garnish.
