Ground Beef Stew with Peas and Flatbread

Ingredients

  • 600 g mixed ground beef
  • 1 tbsp red curry paste
  • 1 chili pepper (sliced into thin rings)
  • 200 ml meat broth
  • Salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin (ground)
  • 2 potatoes (firm, boiled)
  • 150 g peas (frozen)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 flatbread

Instructions

    Peel the potatoes and cut them into 2 cm cubes. Brown the ground beef vigorously in hot oil. Add the potatoes and sauté with turmeric, curry paste, and cumin.

    Pour in the meat broth, add the chili rings, cover, and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. Add the peas, season with salt and cayenne pepper, and let it cook for another 5 minutes. Serve in bowls and accompany with flatbread.
