Grilled Salmon Steak with Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 600 g small potatoes
  • 3 EL butter
  • 4 salmon steaks (about 200-250 g each)
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 EL lemon juice
  • 2 EL olive oil
  • 1 bundle sorrel
  • red basil

Instructions

    Season the salmon steaks with salt, pepper and half of the lemon juice, then drizzle with olive oil and let marinate for about 20 minutes.

    Wash or brush the potatoes thoroughly and boil them in salted water for about 20-30 minutes until tender.

    Rinse the sorrel and basil, then shake dry.

    Grill the salmon steaks over high heat for about 3–4 minutes per side. After grilling, season again with salt and pepper and serve on plates alongside the drained potatoes, adding the sorrel and basil leaves and drizzling with the remaining lemon juice.
