Grilled Fruit

Fresh fruit glazed with apple syrup and lime, served on a platter with optional mango sauce and coconut ice cream from Spoonsparrow.

Ingredients

  • 4 EL apple syrup
  • 2 EL lime juice
  • 1 EL Butter
  • 2 nectarine
  • 4 yellow plums
  • 2 cactus figs

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Heat the apple syrup with lime juice and butter until well combined.

  2. 2.

    Wash, halve, and pit the nectarines and plums; slice the plums. Peel and slice the cactus figs. Brush the fruit with the glaze.

    Preheat the grill and cook the fruit (in a grill pan if desired) for about 5 minutes on each side.

    Arrange on a plate and drizzle with remaining apple-lime sauce.

    Serve with mango sauce and coconut ice cream as desired.
