Green Potato Pan
Grüne Kartoffelpfanne mit Feta und Sesam: Vegetarische Bratkartoffeln nach griechischer Art mit würzigem Schafskäse.
Ingredients
- 500 g new potatoes
- 1 green bell pepper
- 3 fresh garlic cloves
- 1 bunch spring onions
- 75 g green olives (with stone)
- 3 stems basil
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 50 g Feta cheese
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions

Scrub the potatoes and cook in boiling water for 20-25 minutes, drain and let cool. While the potatoes are cooking, quarter the bell pepper, remove the core, wash and place skin-side up on a baking sheet.

Roast under the hot grill until the skin is black and bubbly, transfer to a bowl, cover with a plate and let stand for 10 minutes.

Peel the skin and slice the pepper into thin strips.

Peel the garlic and slice it thinly.

Clean, wash and thinly slice the spring onions diagonally.

Slice the olives from the stone and then into thin strips.

Wash, dry the basil leaves, pluck them from the stems and chop finely.

Halve the potatoes.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the potatoes until golden brown on the cut side.

Add garlic and pepper and fry for another 2 minutes, stirring. Season with salt and pepper.

Add spring onions, olives and basil and heat briefly.

Crumble the cheese. Sprinkle with sesame seeds just before serving. Serve the potato pan.
