Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 150 g fine sugar
- 175 g ground hazelnuts
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 100 g pitted dates
- Baking paper

Beat the egg whites with sugar and salt in a bowl until stiff meringue.

Add the ground hazelnuts and spices. Finely chop the dates with a wet knife, gently fold into the macaron batter; do not overmix and keep the dough from becoming too liquid.

Drop walnut-sized spoonfuls onto a sheet lined with baking paper and Oblaten. Bake at 150°C for about 30 minutes until dry.

Remove from oven and serve on a plate with fresh dates in a bowl.
