Goulash Soup with Marjoram

Ingredients
- 500 g onions
- 1 Garlic clove
- 500 g pre‑cooked beef goulash
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 l meat broth
- 2 tsp dried marjoram
- 1 tsp hot paprika powder
- 0.25 tsp caraway seeds
- Salt
- Pepper
- 250 g waxy potatoes
- 4 sprigs fresh marjoram

Peel and finely dice onions and garlic. Wash the beef and pat dry. Heat olive oil in a pot. Add onions, garlic, and beef; sauté for 5–8 minutes over medium heat. Stir in tomato paste and let it brown briefly. Pour in meat broth. Add dried marjoram, paprika, and caraway seeds. Season with salt and pepper, then simmer on medium heat for 50 minutes.

Meanwhile peel the potatoes, cut into small cubes, and add them to the pot. Cover and continue cooking for another 30 minutes. Shake off excess water from fresh marjoram leaves. Taste the soup one more time and serve garnished with marjoram.
