Ingredients

  • 800 g fresh gnocchi (from the refrigerated section)
  • Salt
  • 1 onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 20 g butter
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 400 ml passata tomatoes (canned)
  • 50 ml heavy cream
  • pepper (ground)
  • 2 pinch sugar
  • 8 chives stalks
  • basil (for garnish)

Instructions

    Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions in salted water and drain. Meanwhile, peel and chop the onion and garlic. Heat butter and olive oil in a pot, sauté onions and garlic until translucent.

    Deglaze with tomatoes and add cream. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Simmer for about 5 minutes over low heat. In the meantime, wash chives, dry, and cut into small rings.
