Ginger Lemonade

Ingredients
- 125 g fresh ginger
- Lemons (2, untreated)
- Oranges (2, untreated)
- 200 g sugar
- Ice cubes
- soda or mineral water
- mint
Instructions

Peel and finely grate the ginger. Thinly peel the zest of lemons and oranges with a microplane and then squeeze them out.

Bring 1 l water to a boil with the sugar, add the ginger and simmer for 1 minute. Pour citrus zest and juices into a pitcher and pour over the hot ginger water, let cool, cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Before serving strain through a fine sieve.

Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour in the lemonade, top with mineral water to taste, and garnish with mint.
