Garlic Noodles with Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 dried peperoncino
  • 0.5 bunch Basil
  • 8 Cherry tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

    Peel the garlic and slice it thinly; crush or finely chop the peperoncino.

  2. 2.

    Heat the olive oil in a pan, add the garlic and peperoncino, and lightly sauté until fragrant.

    Add the cherry tomatoes and cook briefly, then remove the pan from heat.

  4. 4.

    Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente.

    Wash, dry, and tear the basil leaves into pieces; chop them coarsely.

    Just before the pasta is done, reheat the pan, add 3–4 tbsp of pasta cooking water, and stir.

    Drain the spaghetti into a colander, then transfer it to the pan. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle the basil over it, and mix well.

    Serve immediately on warmed plates.
