Crispy fried mung bean sprouts: snack or side dish! Whether you want a light bite or a tasty accompaniment, mung bean sprouts provide no fat, almost zero calories, but plenty of useful nutrients.
Ingredients
- 300 g mung bean sprouts
- 2 Spring Onions
- 1 red chili pepper
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 0.5 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cooking oil

Wash the sprouts and drain well.

Trim, wash, and cut the spring onions into about 3 cm pieces.

Wash the chili pepper, halve it lengthwise, remove seeds, and slice thinly.

Whisk together salt, sugar, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a small bowl.

Heat the wok, add cooking oil, and swirl to coat. Add sprouts, chili, and spring onions; stir‑fry over high heat for about 2 minutes.

Add the soy sauce mixture and stir until combined. Serve the sprout mix warm or cold.
