Ingredients

  • 200 g wheat
  • 200 g wheat flour
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • flour for work surface

Instructions

    Grind the wheat very finely and mix in a bowl with the white flour and salt. Press a well into the mixture and knead in about 300 ml lukewarm water spoonfuls from the center until a smooth dough forms. Then incorporate the oil, cover and let rest at a warm spot for about 40 minutes. Shape the dough into 12-15 equal balls and roll them on the floured surface into 16‑18 cm flatbreads.

    Cook the flatbreads without fat in a large pan 1–2 minutes per side (or on a hot pizza stone).
