- 4 eggs
- 125 ml milk
- 1 tsp salt
- salt water (for boiling)

Whisk a smooth dough from flour, eggs, milk and salt, let it rest for 30 minutes.

Bring the salted water to a boil. Using a tablespoon, cut dumplings, drop them into the boiling salted water, bring back to a boil. Reduce heat, cover loosely, and simmer for about 15 minutes until just at the brink of boiling. Skim off any foam with a spoon and serve immediately.
