Fish pea patties are a recipe with fresh ingredients from the legumes category.
Ingredients
- 180 g green peas (frozen)
- 100 g waxy potatoes (cooked the day before)
- 600 g white fish fillet (e.g., pollock, cod)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Eggs
- 40 g breadcrumbs
- Salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Let the peas thaw. Pass the potatoes through a potato ricer. Wash and pat dry the fish fillets, then pulse them in a blender with lemon juice to a coarse consistency. In a bowl combine the fish with eggs, peas, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and parsley, forming a dough.

Heat oil in a large skillet. Shape the fish mixture into evenly sized patties and press slightly flat. Fry the patties in hot oil for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Serve with remoulade if desired.
